Can I restore my progress in Candy Crush?

I have been playing for about 3 years and have reached approximately level 1550. The other day, the app wouldn't load on my iPad--I kept getting the orange King screen for a second and then it would close. Nothing worked, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now it loads, but it starts me at level 1. I hate the idea that I have lost 3 years of progress. Is there any way to restore me to where I was?

Ive got the same problem and no-one at King is helping me!!! I was on 1186!!!!!
