Why am I not getting candy drops when I enter a new level?

Why am I not getting candy/sugar drops when I enter new levels? I'm getting them on my Android mobile device but not on my Microsoft tablet...I'm also not receiving lives from friends on my tablet....I don't play CC much on my Android mobile so why would all of my lives be sent there?

Here at King we are always working hard to keep our games fun and exciting. This means that from time to time we may tweak or test certain in game features.
At the moment the Sugar Track can be played in full on Facebook. :-)
