Candy crush crashes on ipad mini after February 20 update

This was working fine until the update today. I updated and now it just crashes after the Play button is pushed. Tried restarting but it wont work

We have noticed that players have been experiencing problems with some of our games on older devices, and we understand that this has been disappointing for these players. Go buy a new device is not the answer. The answer is to fix the problem. We are the people who helped you build Candy Crush to what it is now. Please don't tell us that you changed the game so much that we have to go buy new ipads to play it when all the other apps we have work except Candy Crush. You need to fix Candy Crush. I'm surprised you can legally put in writing that you expect us to go buy a new product instead of fixing yours after many people paid money to get to where they are now in the game.
