I´m sorry you´re having this issue in Candy Crush Saga on your iPad. Please follow the steps as indicated here https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/loading-crashing-issues-ios.
If this keeps happening on your iPad afterwards, then please specify what model iPad you´re using.
Saved up boosters and lives can get lost due to several reasons. As these are items saved directly to your device's memory in temporary data-files, these can get overwritten by deleting and reinstalling the game or with an update of either your device's operating system or of the game itself.
