Candy crush autimatically closes after few minutes i open it

I used to play it withiout any problems but after some updates it closes by itself whenever I try to open  it. It opens for a moment then automatically closes by itself. It been a whole year and I can't continue with my progress.

Help will be  much appreciated

    Hi Meshack!

    I suggest you start by checking for updates to the game on Google Play.

    If the problem is still there then you should consider a re-install of the game:

    1) Make sure you have the game connected to Facebook or Kingdom (this will save your progress, highscores and gold bars. Your boosters and messages will get lost when re-installing so please take that into consideration)

    2) Un-install the app

    3) Reboot your tablet

    4) Now it's time to download the app and install it again. Find the app on Google Play and click on 'install'

    5) After the game has been installed you should now be able to start it normally.

    6) Don't forget to connect the game to Facebook (blue button) or Kingdom (orange button) in order to retrieve your game progress, highscores and gold bars.

    Thank you for posting this here on King Care.

    I´m sorry you had this issue for such a long time in Candy Crush Saga on your Android tablet. I recommend you to follow up the steps mentioned here https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/loading-crashing-issues-android

    If this doesn´t resolve the issue you experience on your Android tablet, then I´d like to ask you to specify what make and model tablet you use, as well as the version of Android you are using on it and the version of the Candy Crush Saga app you have installed.

    Tried both options but still no difference, as soon as I hit play it automatically closes. I'm using Vodafone smart tab 3g with android 4.4.2 and everything is up to date.

    This problem began when a certain update was released. As soon as I updated the problem began. I think if we can track the last update that worked on my tablet an compare it with its successor update then you can identify where the problem is. I'm suspecting that it might be due to some updated bug fixes because the older versions still works fine.

    Thank you for your answer.

    I have checked the specs of your Vodafone Smart Tab 3G and I can see that it has 512 MB of Ram. I´m afraid this indeed isn´t enough for the game to be played successfully in its current version.

    You can still enjoy Candy Crush Saga on PC through Facebook and King.com. It´s also possible to play Candy Crush Saga as an app on PC using Windows 10.

    I had this problem since the release of version 1.70.0.2  on march 2016, version 1.69.0.3 released on february 2016 and the previous ones works well. So if you compare the two version I'm sure you can fix this problem.

    The new updates that came with the former version might have caused this problem and that update problem still existst on the versions that followed. When I checked the link you sent me a lot of people with different devices had the same problem. So we can not say its their devices.

    We all have been waiting patiently trying each update hoping that it will work. But still even today the problem still persists. An easier way to identify this bug might be to check one thing common amongst versions 1.70.0.2 through to the latest one, it is very likely that it might be the root of the problem. Basically its something you introduced from version 1.70.0.2 that you have kept it until this month's update, an it seems as if you haven't made much changes to it since the bug is still around 

    We hope that you can be able to fix this issue so that by the next available update we will be able continue with our game progress.

    Technology evolves and so does our game. We need to assure that our game is also adapted to the latest technology. With improvements to graphics, sound and the addition of new features in our games, some older devices may not be able to handle the implemented changes. 

    Performance may vary and crashing issues may disrupt the enjoyment of the game.

    Thank you for your answer Meshack. I am afraid it does so indeed; at least at the moment. I´m sorry to say so.

    With each release comes more content to download which will eventually not work on older devices.

    Therefore if you are playing on an older version, since content is lower it will “work” to load.

    However, playing on an older device and playing in an older version of the Candy Crush Saga app implies not getting any new features, challenges, bug fixes, or content that is being released on a bi-monthly basis to improve the game experience.

    Our Game Studio is aware of this issue with low end devices and they are always looking into ways to help our players. At this stage I don´t have any further information or guarantees on what will be done when, but I´d recommend you to always remain on the lookout for updates.
