Long wait for new lives

I had to switch off en restart my phone when i was out of lives. I was on a flight so on flight mode. While switchibg my phone back on i mistakenly set the date for 2020 instead of 2017. I got a message saying my lives where full so i played all 5 of them. I then noticed the date on my phone was wrong and changed it back.... now the count of my new lives is about two months..... not saying im addicted or anything but i only play candy crush. What can i do to speed this up.

If you have recently changed the time on your device (due to travelling or other reasons) this may affect the game.

To fix the issue, please open the map screen in the game and check how long you have to wait for the next life. Now set the clock on your device forward by that amount of time.

For example, if the game says “100 hours until the next life” you need to change the date in your phone’s calendar. In this case, please calculate how many days are in 100 hours and set the date forward accordingly.

After this briefly access the game’s map screen and then go straight back to the settings menu on your device.

Set the date back to the current date and restart your device.
