How do I update Candy Crush Saga on a regular table top computer.....and without losing all my gifts

I haven't gotten any treasure chests or any helmets, I need to know how to update candy crush on a table top pc

If you have Windows 10 then you most likely have the game app installed, you should be able to see if there are any updates in the Windows Store. If you're playing via Facebook or King.com there's nothing to do, nothing is installed when you play the browser version, it runs straight from the browser and so always plays the latest version of the game.

I am playing via facebook so I'm hoping I do get regular updates, but for about 2 weeks I have had no rewards that I have claimed at all. Is there something else that might cause that to happen? Thanks
