why do i only lose server connection on this game and nothing else

hubbys phone, the game is saying not connected to the server multiple times throughout the day yet the phone shows its connected. problem happens in any location hes at including at home. theres no problems ever accessing internet or playing candy crush soda. this only happens on candy crush saga. hes got the latest version of the game and his software is up to date. cuz of this issue he cant collect daily bonus from spin wheel or win rewards from game play
