Used gold bars to unlock , took my bars but didn't unlock.

I have been trying to unlock to get to the next level by using gold bars. My gold bars are gone but i have been unable to advance until now, losing another 9 gold bars. I had bought 20 yesterday and 15 today. I used most of them but was only finally able to unlock now. Can i get my 29 bars back?
