What happen to my special events after the first day when there is still time remaining on the event

OMG! Every week you offer Magic Dash, I can play the first day, but after that is gone and the trophy is GREY!! I had 75 hours remaining for the magic dash event and I log on today and it's disappeared again. I've been having this issue for months now and it's really irritating. It not only happens with this but with every special event candy crush offers. The trophy is always grey after the first day of the event! This is really frustrating!!! Can someone please tell me how this ongoing issue can be fixed? Your help and knowledge will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
