Why does Candy Crush reward default to 2 hours infinite lives even when you select another reward?

In Candy Crush, when you receive a reward, they may present multiple options and you are to select the reward you want.  It always seems to go with the 2 hour infinite lives option even when I select a different reward.

Have you checked if you have everything updated on your iPad? Check the iOS version and the app version. Try a restart afterwards and see how it goes.
