If you are playing thru Facebook on a desktop, do you assume Facebook is on the newest update? and

If you are playing thru Facebook on a desktop, do you assume Facebook is on the newest update? and if you play your game like Candy Crush thru Facebook, do you assume your games are on their newest updates? I know you have to update on cell phones and tablets but always wondered about this question. Don't know where to update when you are on Facebook. Thanks.

If you play the game on PC, then you should automatically play the latest version of the game.
However, we always recommend to install updates for your PC and browser, to make sure everything else is updated on your PC.
Do you use for example Google Chrome as a browser on your PC? Then just go here chrome://settings/help and it will show you if there are updates available for your browser.

I understand what you are saying about updating but that update info you gave me about Chrome just keeps giving me another tab exactly like the one you answered me on. chrome://settings/help isn't working. Did you forget something else in the address? I'm still confused. And while I am commenting on this I will add my negative comment about your redoing this game. I never liked playing on my phone because I thought it was choppy and didn't play smooth. Now that you've changed it on everything I guess I will be thru playing. I'm so far up in the levels that I still loved playing and also spending money to buy boosters but I probably have to re-think this from now on. Sorry, but I think you should have left it alone or done something else if the original was going to be obsolete. Just tweaking the phone version doesn't cut it. Please read all the comments and you will understand what I am saying.
