Extra Moves Boosters

Why do these boosters disappear if you don't use them immediately?  I got the extra moves booster from a friend, didn't use it on the first level I opened and then it just went away---what's up with that?

Hi Tammy!

Looks like the game was recently updated to a new format. Try a simple cache clearing on your browser and the boosters should work OK again.
