Desktop version of Candy Crush on Facebook asks me to connect to Facebook then it fails?

Since the update I have been back to level 1 on desktop computer only. iPad/iPhone are fine. Today I tried again but I noticed that my Facebook profile pic was showing as a guest user. I clicked on the first level and it asked me to connect to Facebook, which is weird because I was logged into Facebook and trying to play the game. So I clicked on connect and it says Failed....don't have access to the kingdom and to try again. Same thing over and over. This is through both Firefox and Chrome. I have cleared cache and everything on both. I have even uninstalled the browsers and reinstalled them. I have deleted the game on the desktop computer on Facebook, put it back and nothing works!

Are you able to connect to your profile on Facebook now?

As I have said before, I have done everything yiu have suggested multiple times! Still at level 1 and it asks me to connect to Facebook when I am already on Facebook on my computer trying to play and it won't connect! This is ridiculous already
