when I play candy crush on my Ipad it's clear where my extra lives are. When I play on my laptop (even though I request lives from my friends) I can not see where there are any extra lives. Can someone help?

Looks like the game was recently updated to a new format.

Try clearing your browser cache and the extra lives should work correctly again.
