Lost boosters/gold bars/lives

I lost all my boosters, gold bars and lives with the update. Had to reload Facebook and Candy Crush because I got the 'Cannot connect to Kingdom now' message for 5 days in a row. It hardly seems fair that I should be penalized for something that is not my fault. I have purchased many of these booster/gold bars as well. Would appreciate advice on how to restore them.
