Ipad level progress always 2 levels behind?

long time player here. Recently I can't play on my iPad Air because it is two levels behind all other devices. If I move up a level on my phone it moves up one level on the iPad but it is always two levels behind. I have deleted the app and then Facebook updated it and it does not make any difference.
