Level 1879 problem

I have gotten all 75  of the frostings, etc. and then gotten the yellow candies.  THEN THE CANDIES TURN TO FROSTINGS!!!!  I have read your  instructions about removing 75 and then going for the 3 yellow candies...I'll have 2 yellow candies done and BOOM! the third one become a frosting.  Please advise how to beat this level.....thanks.
