Still not able to advance beyond level 1490 after having beaten the level multiple times on my IOS device. I've done everything to try to solve the problem as suggested including uninstall/reinstall, reboot, rebooting the device after reinstall, etc., but none of those options solve the problem. My avatar is not even on the track. It is off to the side. It's clearly a software issue.

I gave up on Candy Crush Saga on my iPad after being unable to advance after having beaten level 1490 miltiple times. I had been several weeks stuck on this level. My avatar was not even on the track. I submitted two problem reports on this forum but received no responses.
Today, in a last ditch effort, I installed Candy Crush Saga to my Android device, logged in via FaceBook, and, guess what?? I finally advanced. I switched back to my iPad and now my avatar has finally advanced to level 1491. There is definitely a glitch in the coding for IOS mobile devices. If I had not had a Kindle Fire to assist me in resolving this issue, I would have probably just quit playing the game altogether.
