Piggy bank is grey - unable to purchase

I'm trying to purchase my full piggy bank in Candy Crush Soda Saga, but the price is greyed-out which makes it unavailable to be purchased. Please advise how to remedy this issue OR if there is currently a problem with this feature and a timeline as to when it should be "fixed". Thanks!
