I tried to load my candy crush levels to a be iPad through fb but i am getting a can't connect

Fb is giving me a message that this link doesn't seem to be working when i try to download my progress to a new ipad. Should i try deleting and reinstalling the app via fb? I don't want to lose levels as i am well over 2000 and have invested quite a bit of money.  Thanks
