I play candy crush saga and reached 2693

I have been playing candy crush saga and on level 2693 I finished the quest and the game went berserk . .I  couldn't do anything with it so left it to run as it got to 3 goes left to play . But seemed stuck on that . Next day game back to normal only now I,m still in the same level . This is unfair as I had finished this level . This has happened before but I.m so cross as this is one of the super hard levels . Please can you tell me why this is happening no doubt  it's a glitch in game . Xx
