Games are good for your brain, whatever you are playing, if it does not take over your life. It sounds to me, like you are questioning your own masculinity. Give yourself a break. There are straight guys, who bake, decorate, garden, knit, dance, etc. These days, anything goes, so do something you like. You don't have to share everything you do, with everyone you know.
