Candy Crush in Facebook Gameroom Reverted Back To Old Version

Yesterday Candy Crush in Facebook Gameroom reverted back to the old version.  When I first opened it everything was normal.  During the day Gameroom locked up and I had to reload it.  After that, the old version of Candy Crush was there.  My 6 hours of unlimited lives was gone etc.  I tried all the suggestions I could find including removing and reinstalling Gameroom to no avail.  Today Gameroom updated automatically so I was hopeful whatever was wrong got fixed.  Nope.  When I play the game in Facebook I get the new version.  What gives???   I'm playing on a Windows 7 PC.
