Candycrush stripe contests how do they work?

I’m curious about what stripe candies go towards my total in the stripe candy contests?? 

When we mix a colour bomb with a stripe candy do all the candies that are produced by this move count towards the total? Does the same go for candies produced At the end of the game when moves are still remaining the game automatically  produces striped candies ? Also do the striped candies need to be set off within my game prior to the completion to count? 

Please explain As many times I was expecting more striped candies than what I received at the end.

Hi William, sorry for the delay in responding but thank you for writing us here at King Care. Are you still having this issue? Do you still need help?  I have seen other players reporting this here but I still haven't received a definitive answer yet.  It might be a glitch that the studio is working on.
