Part of my progress lost after migrating to new phone

On my iPhone 6 I am logged in with a King account and I have completed stage 1137. 

I bought a new phone, logged into Candy Crush with my credentials and had to realize that the sync doesn‘t work properly. On the new phone I am only in stage 606.

What I find strange is that I just completed stage 1137 on the old phone and I progressed on the new phone from stage 606 to 607 automatically.

So, the sync seems to work but there is a difference of several hundred levels.

What can I do to fix this?
