Can you explain how someone who was in 1st Place in the striped candy contest end up in 20th?

I took a pic because I was in 2nd place in the contest. Someone was in first w/3340 with more then an hour to go. After the contest the guy who had 3340 was in 20th Place w/ 580 points. I have pics to prove it. I ended up in 3rd & my profile pic was in 7th Place too. What are you guys doing?

Hi Mel, sorry for the delay in responding but thank you for writing us here at King Care.
To qualify for the reward, you must have been in the top 3 on the Leader Board at the exact time when the challenge finished. It cannot be at any point during the event. When it ends, you will be able to see where you ranked and then the rewards will be paid out. If you didn’t wait until the event ended, then you might have been bumped down in the rankings by others who played to the end. Please keep this in mind for future challenges!
