Cannot connect to candy kingdom

Hello! I recently returned to playing candy crush after a month or two away. I recently updated to the latest version of the application however, I have since not been able to connect to candy kingdom. I used an email address to access the server instead of Facebook. Every time I attempt to access the server, it provides me with error messages as it says that 'candy kingdom is unavailable'. I cannot do daily spins, nor do I receive my boosters after collecting all the candy, nor can I view my level... Etc. it's really a mess and I'd really like to go back to the interactive CC that I know. Thank you!
