I paid for 8 lives at least 2 years ago; over the past 3 days, only 5 lives are awarded. What's up?

I have paid for 8 lives in Candy Crush at least 2 years ago, but for the past 3 days, only 5 lives are being awarded per session.  I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game, but the rewards are few and far between, and everything keeps getting more costly.  I want my 8 lives back now!!

Hi Sydney, sorry for the delay in responding.  Are you still having this issue?  When you open the game it only starts with 5 lives and then if you run out of them you can always check the envelope to see if any friends have given you extra lives but make sure that you do not click on more than 5 because the max is 5.  Unfortunately, King cannot give you back your lives.  Do you play the sugar drop challenge for free boosters?  You can collect up to 8 free boosters every 8 hours.
