My gold bars disappeared

I have slowly built up 10 gold bars which took some time as I can no longer afford to keep opening the piggy bank. I updated my iOS on my mobile yesterday, and I just noticed I have zero gold bars. I haven’t used them at all.

Has this happened before and can you help?

I am on level 2637 in Candy Crush Saga and play mostly on my iPhone 7 and iPad but occasionally on my laptop too.

Hi Sparkers, sorry for the delay in responding. Are you still having this issue?

Please note that the boosters are saved to your device and not the game data, so you can use them when offline too. This does mean that any updates, crashes or device changes can cause these items to be lost. For this reason, we do not recommend storing too many of the won boosters as these can indeed be lost unlike Gold Bars.

I can try to elevate this to a King Admin who might be able to offer further information.

I DO NOT know the answer, but all of my gold bars disappeared also! I bought the piggy bank (60) and just before that I bought the $6.99 package, used the bars twice and the rest are gone. I am about ready to quit this game, it is ridiculous. I have gotten the jackpot "1" time in 2 or so years, always the fish no matter where you stop at. Just a money maker for King, I am over it.
