Is it true, are my purchases supposed to be honored across all platforms?

I have been addicted to Candy Crush since the game was first launched and it is no secret I spend hundreds of dollars on gameplay weekly if not monthly.  It has been brought to my attention that my in-app purchases should be available universally if my account is synced with facebook, yet they have never crossed over and I am such a CC junkie I have made duplicate purchases on from laptop to mobile to have access to my boosters universally.  I have spent large amounts of money on the game that was purely unwise and my bad judgment but is King.com intentional manipulating and taking advantage of addicted players by not syncing purchases?  I have been an excellent King.com customer and if my purchases were supposed to be accessible via multi-platforms I am due to a  substantial refund.
