Hi Erin, the most lives that you will ever see showing on the map is 5. If a friend sends you lives do not add them to the map because you will have lost them since the max is 5. If a friend gives you extra lives it will be located in the envelope so when you run out of lives click on the trophy thing and then click on the envelope and you will see which friends sent you extra lives.
