On lvl 3305 without facebook and ZERO issues. Finally connect to Facebook and now I can't connect...

Question

I've slowly worked my way to level 3305 without connecting to facebook. I was synced by email at some point, and never had ANY problems. Within a week of finally connecting to facebook, I can't log in, it fails every time. So, a couple questions:

1. Does this self fix, can I wait it out? How can one of the more popular games in the world be so terrible at connecting? Do updates fix this?

2. I'm willing to wait for updates, as I have hundreds and hundreds of boosters and whatnot, but if I have to reinstall, is there anyway to save my stuff?

3. Can I logout of facebook and just play how I always have?

Sounds like this has been an issue for a while...What a joke! I'm on Android FYI. And yes my software, facebook, and candy crush are all up to date.

Hi Kyle, if you don't play the game through Facebook or the Kingdom your progress is only saved to your device.  If you loged in with Facebook and don't like doing it that way, why not try doing it through the Kingdom?  I will give you a couple of links that might help you resolve this.

I do want to warn you that all boosters and lives are just saved to your device so that you can play the game offline.  Any crashes or operating system updates can cause you to lose everything.  King suggests that you use them and not accumulate them.

Thanks for the response Elsa. So a long while back I did register through the Kingdom, since logging in with facebook it is messed up. When I click the Kingdom button in the game, I see my profile, but am not actually logged into the game. If I try to logout it says, "No internet connection found." If I press back, press the Kingdom button again it looks like I am logged out, and it wants me to enter my password. When I do it says, "Oops, an unexpected error occurred." That error flashes away quickly. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
