Just today the quit button will not let me reset you just have to play that level or loose

I know that I will lose a life if I quit after making a move. But what has changed is that now I also lose a life if I quit BEFORE making any moves. So I can no longer reset the level to line up my boosters in the way that I used to. And I don't understand why some can still do this and I can't.

I can quit a level (before making any moves) and don't lose any lives or the space dash. I can close and restart / reload / refresh the game in the middle of a level and my Space Dash remains intact.
When a new Space Dash Challenge starts, I scroll back to level 236 (Very quick and easy level to complete) play that level several times and my Space Dash / Helmet is maxed out in under 5 minutes.
Then return to current levels. New levels are getting so hard now that many are nigh on impossible without the boosters.

All up to date, Android,Windows 10,Gameroom and Facebook all working 100%

Strange thing is. It happens to me but to friends at work only me. Is the game only penalised some people

I totally agree, if you can't start with 2 liquorice in games 3700+ then you may as well pack in the game. Please give us a chance to reset a game like we used to

Yes, you now lose the space helmet if you close without actually quitting. This started for me today when I got the latest update. So it's no longer really an option.

I'm losing a life if I quit before first move, but if I play and lose the game I can retain my boosters (on iPhone at least - not tried laptop yet) by just closing she screen and then closing the app by swiping up. So it looks like it's inconsistent. I have to say that this might be the push I need to quit this altogether. I won't ever buy boosters, so if the levels are frankly not possible without being able to reset to get your boosters where you want them then it will not be fun at all.

Totally agree! Will be impossible now without the boosters! I think it is time to quit this game!! I think a lot of players will think the same!

Odd. My CC is up to date (or should be) and I dont lose lives when I exit a level before I make any moves.

That's Always been the case, If you quit / exit a level you've started playing, its the same as failing the level and you lose the space dash / helmet.
Once you start a level you must beat that level to keep the boosters going.
If you cannot beat a level, you can save your space dash progress by clicking the refresh button (gameroom / facebook) or exiting and restarting the game (mobile / windows 10 ).
You will still lose a life, but your booster progress will be saved.
With the increasing difficulty of new levels, this is the only way to keep your space dash progress, tho technically it is a bug / cheat and may one day get fixed.

Saving the space dash by quitting the app the hard way doesn't work anymore. At least no on my android phone. I dont play CC on fb or gameroom.

Happening to me too. I'm on 3665 and waiting for new levels tomorrow. This is going to make things so much more difficult if we can't reset.

Now not only have I lost quit/reset but today have lost space dash as well, this is despite closing the game. This seems to be happening just to some not all.

Well. If this change is intended Kingsoft forces me to quit. I'm not gonna be stuck on a level like 3665 for days or weeks without boosters. And I'm not gonna pay for boosters anyway so this is an end for me. The game was fun while it lasted though and I've enjoyed it everytime I had a break on the job. But I also have to admit I've waited for this day where KS fixes the reset trick with quitting the game in the middle of a level without losing the space dash challenge.

This is how it started for me (I’m the one that asked the question first). Today I have lost the spaceship too (despite closing down and restarting). Still no reply from customer care but it seems as though King will do this to more. Would just like confirmation of this . It appears that they don’t want me to continue!

I had an update yesterday - and when I tried backing out of a level with full SD or Helmet, it allowed me to keep them. This is without making a move. So it's back to letting me restart the level to get the boosters where I want them at the beginning.

BUT, if I play the level and don't win, when I exit that level completely (instead of just hitting the x button), it doesn't give me my boosters back when I restart CC. Before, as long as I closed out the whole tab, it would give me my boosters back.

I have just done an update.....mine remains the same .... No quit/reset and one go or lose everything !. Still no response from customer care . After all these weeks, I am now really thinking that this is how it is going to be.....but again only for the select few. Has anyone else been given anything back?

See above - I was given back the ability to quit and restart a level and keep SD or Helmet. Only if I hadn't made a move.

Nope, not me. I updated as well and still have the same issue. I miss CC. I'll check it every few days, but at this point I'm not playing anymore.

As you can see it was me that started this over 4 weeks ago. Thanks for letting me know that it isn't just me!! Frustrating just doesn't cover it & "apparently" King have far more serious issues to resolve. Not sure if it is a good or bad sign that 1 persons quit/reset has been restored??????. Jackie

Thanks for replying Siofs, everything seems to have gone too quiet. I am thinking now that this could be end. It would be so good if customer care would just give us some feedback/answers.

Guys! If you put your phone in airplane mode it will let you exit out of a level you have lost (exit out completely, not just hitting the x in the corner), when you reload the game you keep your Space Dash or Helmet and boosters!!!

Yes! The workaround is if you play in airplane mode you can quit and refresh the game and keep boosters. Also you can back out of the level before you make a move and keep boosters.

When I do this, it's back to the way it used to be for me.

IT JUST GETS BETTER & BETTER.........NOT!!

This morning I had the new booster ( to replace space dash) STILL NO QUIT/RESET. This afternoon that has disappeared completely. Yet another thing that has been taken away.

Can anybody anywhere please shed some light?, this is getting beyond frustrating. Still no response from customer care.
