Game crashing

For the past 2 days, every time I finish a game - regardless of whether or not I have won, the whole thing just freezes.  This appears to be happening when it goes to the candy maker screen (not sure what it's called) when it generates prizes from the bonus candies in the game before.  Everything else seems to be working OK  but it's so frustrating as the game now takes a whole 4 minutes to reload.  I am running the game on a Windows 7 pc with everything up to date.  I have also refreshed the cache & closed down other tabs. It has only started happening since the 'buddy games' were introduced.  It's just so bad that I shall now have to abandon the whole programme as it is useless

Hi Dawn, I am going to assume that you must be playing on Windows 10 because there is a glitch where the game keeps freezing and/or closing.  It has already been reported to the studio and they said that it will be fixed with the next game app release but a release date hasn't been given yet. 

Hi Elsa. No - as I said in my question, I am running Windows 7. I saw the post about windows 10 hence asking my question. I guess this glitch must also be affecting Windows 7
