Candy Crush Saga Only Loading Flash Version on Chrome

Question

I have the latest version of chrome on my iMac at home and candy crush on Facebook INSISTS on loading the old flash version. Every other computer I have (PC, MacBook, work computer) running the same version of Chrome have no issue loading the HTML5 version. I have cleared every cookie and every temp file I could find associated with Candy Crush and/or King.com with no success.  Why is this trying to load the flash version? I am far beyond the flash levels at this point and would like to play on my home mac again.

Hi jdurchen, Chrome is a big problem if you have version 68 or higher.

We've been telling everyone to try the other browsers such as Firefox, Opera or Edge instead.  One player wrote that he was able to get back to an older version of Chrome, if you'd like to try that instead.  He wrote "Go to chrome setting, click advance, at the bottom click restore original setting."

This is not what is happening for me. It loads the old flash version and never even tries to load the HTML5 version.
