Any news on receiving lives from friends?

It is now a week since I got on my game and lost all my saved lives. I received a message saying that something went wrong on facebook and some players lost all their lives and you cannot get them back. Well I understand that however, a week later and still not getting lives that friends are sending. This is getting ridiculous. Was hoping for some information on when this will be fixed. I play at home on my pc, through google on facebook.
