How do I play against friends?

If you are not playing the games through Facebook or the Kingdom then you won't see any friends. On Facebook it would be people that you friended and play your games. On the Kingdom, I think they are randomly chosen friends because you can't pick and choose friends. If you don't play through either one of them there is no way to get friends to play with.
