Hi everyone! I am going to close this thread now, as we have an idea here which has been created.

I would just like to add that in the first five minutes of playing the game I noticed that the hints are always flashing and I came here to find out how it can be turned off. The hint is very annoying because it throws me off when seeking my next move. My eye is constantly attracted to the flashing and I am psyched out of making the right next move because the hint doesn't comprehend when i may need help. Instead I'm consistently being "told" what to do which is not very fun and I can see this becoming very frustrating in later levels when looking for combos and playing with a limited number of moves. I used to play this game years ago all of the time. Now I am back and having this problem with my favorite game. I wanted to include feedback because I noticed many others experiencing the same problem.

I used to play this game A LOT, even spending real money sometimes. Months ago I quitted because off the anointing STUPID FLASHING HINTS. Downloaded it again recently to see if you implemented a way to turn it off but to my surprise not only you didn't but you made IT APPEAR FASTER NOW. As I see, A LOT of people are complaining about this. It's incredibly annoying not to mention opposed to the hole point of the game. Leave it for those who like it but give the rest of us a option to disable it.

The auto suggestions are the reason I quit the game. Downloaded recently to see if I can stop in on configuration only to find out that not only you still can't disable auto suggestions but now the time before they appear is even shorter. Gave up again. It's impossible to play.

The hints just completely ruin the game. How would you like it if someone was telling you what to do no matter what stage you're on in a game like thats just so ridiculous to me. I don't understand why you can't turn them off because "ThAt WiLl TaKe ToO lOnG" then just do it, and so many people are asking about this to happen and to be implemented. It ruins the whole game for me, like this is the only game with this type of format that it happens on and being one of the best games on mobile today, I don't understand why you don't want to listen to your fans. This should be your first priority as it involves your best game that you've developed and knowing that you're trying to get more people to play it this will attract more by fixing this major problem in the game. I just don't understand why you're being so selfish and making everyone wait, and it probably doesn't take that long to fix this. I'm not going to keep playing until this is fixed and dealt with.

I, too, have joined only to ask for the annoying, instant flashing hints to be turned off!! Why is the game playing for you?? Why would you even think this was a good idea?? And they’re usually wrong. I do plan on deleting the game now that I see I wasn’t missing some way to turn them off.

I’ve only joined this to ask if the distracting, fast hints can be turned off. I am finding that it hurts my eyes, I get migraines and can see that this feature is something that could become a reason why I stop playing the game unless it’s changed.

Hello @princesstarynn, and welcome to the sweetest community online! This has been a common complaint among many players, but unfortunately, this feature has not been implemented....for now! King is constantly working on making their games bigger and better. However, it is important to remember that such changes to the game cannot be implemented overnight. They require rigorous testing to make sure they work out as many bugs as possible. Perhaps this is something that the studio will implement soon, but for now, we just have to be patient to see what sweet surprises await! I hope this helps you, and have a great evening!

Please turn off the hints or at least slow them down like they used to be! You are going to lose a lot of players if you keep them like they are!

Will the developers give an option to turn off hints soon? I don't like to create accounts, but I'm so close to uninstalling the game even though I've loved it, but I can't stand the flashing hints. Please at least slow the flashing down & delay the amount of time until it syarts flashing. I play this game to relax, but the flashing increases anxiety.

Only joined this group to ask King to turn off prompts in Candy Crush. Very annoying and don't allow you to play your own game. I know you don't have to select the prompt but it's IN YOUR FACE. Give me the choice to turn it off. Seriously thinking of deleting the game it's that annoying. Thank you, rant over.

In that case I'm out, pointless playing when it keeps telling you where to move . Imagine a chess game that kept flashing your next move??

I really wanted to play the candy crush app on my phone, however the app wants to play it for me! How can I turn off the 'hints' button so I can play the game for myself? it doesn't even give me a second to think for myself!

Hi Jacqueline, you see the hints appearing fast because the studio is testing out different speeds for the game. Several players have commented here and asked for a turn off thing and these messages were forwarded to the studio. Not sure if and when they plan to resolve this.

Please include an option to turn off ALL hints. I used to love this game, but now I can’t stand the annoying hits flashing every 2 seconds.

Hi @cabjjm, several players have asked for this already and it was reported to the studio but I don't know their priority list so it might not be near the top.

the hints in this game are extremely disruptive and annoying. i want to be able to make moves myself without the game telling me what move to make. it makes the game not fun at all and i’m probably going to uninstall it unless i can turn the hints off

Hi @christajarrell, thank you for posting here in the community. The reason why the hints are popping up quicker is because the studio has been checking different speeds for the game. Players have complained and have asked if they can be turned off. It was elevated to the studio but I am not privy as to where it falls on the priority list.

It would be great to just have those quick hints on timed levels. And thank you for not having many timed levels anymore. My vision isn't great so they were extra tough for me.
