Space Race suddenly disappeared

I loaded Candy Crush tonight and was given the chance to collect 50 green candies in order to initiate the Space Race. I completed the challenge and was shown the pop-up to indicate that Space Race had started. I played levels that would give me lots of color bombs but none of them collected and then the Space Race randomly disappeared. Because I had extra moves, I had collected about 600 color bombs in a short time but did not get any of them. What gives?

Same. Overnight I woke up to green candy race. They killed the color bomb race in the middle of the game. If they are going to make changes they should do it after the race is over. This is ridiculous. All of a sudden someone has 40K greens. Just like that. This game is rigged and unfair to everyone in all aspects. Got on one day and all my saved lives gone just like that.
