Giving lives to friends

I’ve noticed I’m only allowed to give a friend an extra live if she/he is ahead of me on levels. I have many friends who play and are levels under me. But their profiles are not shown at the bottom of the level I’m currently playing. I can only give them an extra live if they requested one in my inbox. There should be a list of all candy crush friends regardless of their progress. Since I’m on level 4085 any friends who are on levels under that are not displayed for an extra live to give out. I only have one friend who is ahead of me and I can only give her a free life. See picture for reference.
