Out of curiosity please could you let me know how you managed to find this thread? Given that you obviously know the answer and you posted to answer the post I am really curious how you came to find this post. It is five years old, so must have been hidden in the Community vaults. Did you use the community search function? Or did you use the Help Centre in the app? I'm just trying to figure out how people sometimes find ancient threads, that's all. So if you read this it would be nice if you could help me answer that question.

I have the option to turn hints on or off. I find that I like to leave the hints on. I do not pay that much attention to the hints. However, if I can not find a decent/better move that hint becomes perhaps a good option?
It’s over 6 months later, when are you rolling out the feature to turn off hints? It’s just turning something off, it doesn’t sound complicated. Thanks

Right now the hint switch is available in the Candy Crush Saga game as a Test feature.
Go to the game's Start Menu, then Settings - Features - Hints - On / Off
Since the feature is a test, not everyone will find this feature.
Not sure how to turn them off, but most of the time I ignore them and do whatever other move I see. Sometimes though its not a bad thing to pay attention to those hints.

level 6830 the bottom button is all jumbled up, I already rebooted and cleared cache.
Why I am getting ads to get prizes?
As soon as I got to this level it gave me an error message 'unable to win level' and kicked me out. I tried again a few times and same message. How do I get past this level? It says level needs yellow candies and no yellow candies show up so I can't even play it.
