I got this reply from them a few minutes ago, which is rubbish as I was not offline and had been playing after and the next day, I spent a lot also and am now not going to play candy crush anymore after all these years. I think it’s a fob off
Hi Shelley, Thank you for your patience.
We have checked with our Studio the issue encountered with this All Stars feature no longer available, allow me to explain.
It seems that the feature was won whilst being offline, which means that the system did not register the win as you did not log back in the game for it to be registered.
Unfortunately, this caused you to be out of the event, and we can't manually add you back as this runs in real-time and we can't interfere with it.
For the trouble and the disappointment this may have caused, we have sent some items your way to hopefully make up for the loss encountered.

You are right Twiglet - I just looked it up. I got confused in this weird contest. My original comment about it being just one day still makes it difficult though.

I’m sorry they didn’t help you, I’m sure a lot of people had problems not you so it sounds like saying you were offline is just an excuse, you wouldn’t have been able to play in the competition if you were offline. What gifts did you get I hope it was worth it

I’m still 1st at the moment with 1.5 hours to go. It’s very strange I was sure it would have been harder to get to the top position in the semi final and I haven’t played all day

It seems to me that this event just excludes a lot of players. If you think about it...there are going to be just 10 players in the final. I know these players will be the lucky one who are the best players....but everyone else has to just sit and offer their support

Love it. Mine is also nickname I got years ago from my brother as he said I was skinny like a twiglet. Not that skinny anymore though..
