Candy Crush Saga: changes in the score & points system

Dear community,

Last week, a few players around the world were seeing changes in the Candy Crush Saga points system and this week, more players around the world will be seeing these changes as well.

I'd like to share some information with you and also the reasoning behind the upcoming changes:

During the last months, we been worked on the Points System in the game.

Thanks to all the feedback received regarding the points system in the game, our objectives are improving the Control, Consistency and in-game Communication around the score and the points we get after performing certain actions. We want to make it more comprehensive and more understandable for everyone how many points they earned for completing that action.

The question we asked was... How many points did each one of those candies give that player and why?

We want the new system to be pretty straightforward and we are also working on some other new features that will be coming soon to the game and will work with this new system!

As for all changes, we will all need some time to understand & get use to them. Now, if you have the new Point system available in your game, please do share your feedback with us! We look forward to reading you comments!

@Pounawea How I can know if I have changes in the Candy Crush Saga points system ?

@Tzvi_Marcu the first thing you'll notice is that matching 3 basic candies without doing anything else (breaking blockers, completing objectives, etc) will give you 120 points when crushed instead of 60 points. Then from there it's up to you to figure out what you think changed... Unfortunately if I tell you anything else then we can't get a proper reaction from you all on how understandable it is.

Hi @Pounawea unfortunately I never paid attention to the game points. My goal has always been to just clear the level. You might get a lot more results for this if we could find a way to get the players who love to complete every level with 3 stars to see this and respond. Bet you they all keep an eye on the points! Just not sure how to direct them here.

@Pounawea can I ask here please, is there any change being made to the crystal ice blockers? Few people mentioned it on the accessibility post, you did months ago and for many it's still a problem. Or is it still being written up for review?
