Opening King games stops audio book playback using Audible and Overdrive apps. Devices are iPad and iPhone, iOS version is 14.1.
Have now noticed this issue with a different app - I am listening to radio stations via my iPhone and JBL bluetooth speaker; I open my King Bubble Witch Saga 2 and the radio play stops. I have checked whatever settings I can find, to turn off 'auto-play'. Most frustrating. I do not have the sound turned on for my BWS2 game. Cheers, BennieM27
Maybe you could try to play Audible audiobooks on your game without the Audible app. To do that, you can use the DRmare DRM Music Converter to help you. It can convert Audible audiobooks to plain audios so that you can use them easily and freely. Just give it a try and enjoy the music in game.

King corrected the problem once I pointed out that Clancy Crush Soda didn’t have the same bug.
The solution to the problem is to TURN BOTH THE MUSIC AND THE SOUND OFF in the games. Once they are turned off, you can listen to music or audible while playing.
I am having this same problem when listening to my music regardless of which app I'm using for the music.
It ONLY does this with the Candy Crush Saga version, not the other CC games.
I've tried logging out & then back in, but no luck. I have all apps up to date & my iPhone is up to date as well. This started happening either 1 or 2 releases ago. It never used to do this. I have to switch back to my music every time to push play after opening Candy Crush Saga. If CC Saga is already open, then I open up my music, there's no issue. It's only when the music (Amazon Music/Apple Music) is started first.

Please counter check the app permission under your phone setting and see whether you are able to uncheck certain permissions that may have prevented audiobook to function.

Update... this occurs when opening Candy Crush Saga only. So if Candy Crush Soda Saga can open without pausing my audio book you should be able to FIX THIS BUG!

Understood that your apps stops playing after you open King's game. Based on my personal experience, only your phone's music apps will continue playing even thoug you've opened another app.
So if you open other audio apps besides your phone's music apps, it will stop playing if you open another app, regardless of King's app or etc.

There are always compatibility issues, when using 3rd party things. Sorry I can't be of more help. I don't use wifi or wifi devices on gaming, only my PC.
