I love this movie because of its story. I love the character of miguel who had been so persistent who his real ancestors are to unveil a secret how his great grandfather died and who is the real great musician.

Plus i love the music. The tempo of mexican music is so alive that it makes you sing and dance.

Hi @Crazy Cat Lad,

This is a really interesting topic for me as I like all kinds of movies, and home theater is one of my favorite hobbies. I lean mostly towards science fiction, so I would have to say my all time favorite movie that I can watch over and over is The Time Machine, the 1960 version with Rod Taylor, Alan Young, and Yvette Mimieux.

A very close second is Forbidden Planet with Walter Pidgeon and Anne Francis.

Outstanding films from decades ago that still are amazing today! 😎
