I've been playing this game for a long time but will now be quitting. I don't appreciate that this is a forced event that I was unable to bypass.
Hi. With this Crew feature, you're not really playing with anyone. It's a way to give and receive a life, a lollipop, and extra time in s game. While there is a bonus for reaching levels, as a team, it's not required. You choose what you want to do. Give lives, for example, and are matched with 2 players, who give the other rewards. You press the button to give, and the other 2 players do the same. You can ignore it, if you want, but there's nothing wrong with giving and receiving the help. I hope this helps.
I refuse to play with a crew and want to bypass but can’t! I like to play alone! This is ridiculous to not have an option to bypass the crew! Maryann A
I also hate being forced to join a crew in Candy Crush Saga I rather play alone so I wait until I'm forced to join a crew is over then restart playing again. Ryo10

Why are we being forced to join a sweet crew? I don’t want to join a team … I prefer to play alone.
Thank you for sending to your team. Just fyi, from what I have read in my research on trying to get past it, I am not the only one. Some comments were back in 2019. I like to play on my own, so I do thank you for your help. Please ask them to keep it from showing up. It has cost me a lot of times playing over the last 3-4 weeks. Thanks again.

I'm really surprised to hear that you don't want to join Sweet Crew 😅Through this event we can give to other crew, game items such as Booster Lives and Extra Moves, as well as receive from them.(No items from your inventory will be charged in this case)

I now understand, @davbra. Thank you for the screenshot of the event. The Sweet Crew event is in the Candy Crush Saga game and not Candy Crush Friends Saga. I am tagging CCS Moderators to move your question to the correct forum and to respond to it.

No. I am referring to Sweet Crew. It came up out of the blue It wants you to join a crew if 3. . If you don’t play, it will stay in the screen for about 2 weeks. It won’t let you play unless you join. So, for that amount of time you cannot get in the map to play. It does not give options. It’s ridiculous.
@davbra, are you referring to the Sweet Streak that adds boosters to the board at the start of a level? When this event appears, it usually lasts for days. Most players love this event. What do you dislike about it?
Why are we being forced to play Sweet Crew? That’s not right. It needs to have a choice it taken down. Help; please!
