This afternoon, CC has switched to portrait mode on my iPad. No other app is doing this.
I’ve tried locking the screen to no avail.
Anyone any ideas as to how to fix this?

This test ended in December 2021.

There is a play test in the game on mobile devices where the game is only available in portrait mode.
Therefore landscape mode is not available for some players at the moment.
The play test started this week and will approximately be live for a month.
We hope that you can enjoy crushing the candies in portrait mode during this time!
I have spent a lot of money buying gold bars to finish out levels! This is what KING does to spoil our fun? I/WE NEED THE SCREEN ORIENTATION OUR CHOICE. PLEASE DO NOT FORCE PORTRAIT ON US, MR. KING.
I have the same problem on one of my iPads. I have been playing on this ipad for years in landscape orientation. All of a sudden CC insists on portrait. So annoying! Please give us liberty.

Hello Yudy34 unfortunately there is no fix for this as the fixed orientation view is part of a test being carried out by King. Please leave your feedback in the thread linked by Glenn.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please do the standard trouble shooting by loging out, update your game App, restart your device and login, if playing through browser please clear cache/ history. And login again.

Landscape mode STILL NOT WORKING and it's been well over a month now since the reply was that the testing period was going to be about a month
When is this going to be fixed because it's pretty annoying, especially when you have no say in whether or not you want to be part of this so-called 'test'

Please please, when are you going to sort out the orientation issue for iPad’s. It is so frustrating and the top of the screen icons are cut in half. They are not properly visible.

For years I have been able to play on my iPad in landscape orientation, today Oct 25 I log on and you are forcing me to play the game in portrait orientation. THIS IS NOT CONVENIENT OR ACCEPTABLE.
If I wanted to rotate my screen that should be my choice not yours. Now put put it back so I can continue playing my game.
Try turning off Portrait Orientation lock/Auto Rotate on your device and that's it! It's simple. If people play on computers they will have the landscape mode. That's the simple tip I'm giving you.
My screen orientation is not locked, the game automatically switches to portrait once the opening King screen goes away.
Also I play all 3 of the Candy Crush games, Jelly and Soda and they load the correct way, only CC Saga is doing this. Please do not screw up the others like you just did with Saga.
It is even worse. I have the orientation LOCKED at landscape and it ignores it.

It seems like the developers have released the iPhone version in the App Store for iPad.
it’s not only very annoying to have to play in portrait mode, the perspective of the game is wrong with many of the candies squashed up.
I feel the same about the orientation- I’ve always played landscape & now am being forced to play portrait which is not how my iPad is set up 😡
I play on both my Samsung phone and tablet. I am being forced to play in portrait mode instead of landscape. I HATE IT! Please fix it.

The same thing has happened to my iPad. My screen orientation is not locked and it just happened with no update either. Please change it back, it is very annoying, I hate playing in Portrait mode.
Why has the orientation been fixed in Saga? 8,000 levels in on an iPad, now an unnecessary change?
have you been bought by Microsoft? They are usually that sort of prescriptive?

Unable to purchase
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
