I was just thinking how cool it would be to stream Candy Crush to my 55 inch TV. I've played on my phone on my laptop, now I would like to play on my big screen.

Hello @Sloanali what brand of TV have you got? Some smart TV's will already allow you to stream your mobile content to your TV.
Samsung smart TV's, for instance, have something called AllShare.
Windows PC/laptops have something called Screen Mirroring that allows you to cast your PC screen to a miracast compatible TV
Apple has AirPlay that works in a similar way to Screen Mirroring, but only with Apple devices.
Additionally a user on here suggests the Amazon Fire Stick as a method of adding Candy Crush to your TV.
