How to handle the Frog in Candy Crush Saga?
How do you clear the Frog on a level?
Can you crush the Frog in the game?
The Candy Frog in Candy Crush Saga may cause some questions and confusion.
Here's a quick guide on how to manage the Frog and play the Frog levels!
Is the Candy Frog a blocker or booster?
The Candy Frog is not a blocker, therefore you cannot crush or clear it either on a level.
The Candy Frog is a helping candy that you can use to succeed and complete a tricky level.
What the Candy Frog does is helping you to crush candies on your level. Especially candies on spaces that are hard to reach with regular matches.
Start with feeding the Frog with candies!
To be able to crush candies with the Candy Frog you will first need to feed it with candies.
Match the Candy Frog with candies of the same color as the Frog. You can also move the Frog itself as long it's get matched with at least two candies.
When the Frog gets "full", being fat and indicating the frogtastic mode with circles around it, it's ready to be moved.
Simply click on the Frog and then click on the tile where you want to move the Frog to.
The Frog will then crush the candies and blockers on that tile and all eight tiles around it.
Use the Candy Frog several times!
Once the Frog has been moved, it will change its color.
You can then start feeding it with candies again of the new color.
Then move it again and crush candies on another space on the game board.
The Frog can be fed into Frogtstic mode and as many times you wish, as long as you have moves left on the level.
Frog facts!
1 Feed the Candy Frog with a Special Candy, e.g. Striped Candy, Color Bomb. This will give the Frog that extra power in the following match.
2 If the Candy Frog is displayed as one of the targets on the level. This means you will need to feed and move it. Not crush it or clear it from the level.
Chocolate warning!
If you are playing a level with chocolate, the Candy Frog may get covered in chocolate when it grows on the level.
The Frog won't disappear, but you will then need to clear the Frog from the chocolate first before you can continue feeding it with candies.
